How We Source Claims
Every clinical assertion on this site is backed by a real, published confidence score and evidence tier. Here's exactly how that works.
1What This Page Covers
Every clinical condition and herb page on NutritionColours carries a real, machine-readable confidence score and evidence level, generated from the same dataset summarized here. This page is the human-readable view of that data — nothing below is invented for this page; it's computed directly from our published confidence-scores dataset.
2Coverage & Confidence, By The Numbers
17 clinical entities (8 conditions, 9 herbs) currently carry a scored confidence rating, averaging 87/100. Evidence tiers represented: I, II (Oxford Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine scale, Tier I being systematic reviews/meta-analyses/RCTs). Entities without a listed score here are still cited on their own pages, but haven't yet been through this specific scoring pass.
3Review Cadence
Scored entries are scheduled for re-verification every 92 days by Dr. Shilpa Thakur, Ph.D.. This is a real recurring commitment, not a one-time audit — the next-due date for every entry is tracked in the same dataset this page reads from.
4The 3 Pillars of Evidence
Our approach balances: (1) Published Clinical Research, (2) Real-world Clinical Outcomes, and (3) Traditional Wisdom (Ayurvedic Foundations) validated by modern science.
5Outcome Data
We track anonymized outcomes from our thousands of patients to refine our clinical protocols, ensuring they are optimized for Indian physiology and lifestyle.
